On
the plate of Châteaugay the castle, which dominates the Limagne preserves
a superb square basalt keep, at the strongly sloped base. The home are laid out
around an interior court. The castle was called "Vigoche" until in 1350,
date on which, its new owner named it "Châteaugay". It rebuilt it at
the end of XIVe century. The castle is in the medium of a village of vine growers.
A cellar of tasting is installed in the interior court.
