Château d'Avrilly (Est-Side)

(West-side)

At 8 km on the North of Moulins this castle from the 15th century keeps his fortified look at the east side and his tower at the north with elements of the old drawbridge. It became at the 17th century a nice porchlodge crossing the moat just as two pavilions and an orangery.
But from the 19th century date the majestic West- frontage, the digging of 7 basins on several levels building perspectives to the old frontage, a park of 100 ha with rare botanical varieties, dependences of important size for the stables. The vast interior comprises 75 rooms. Outsides, even exceptionally the whole castle can be the theatre of events like exposures, receptions, marriages, shooting of films, hirings of rooms, hiring in a " Logis de France" located in an independent house of that period.
