The La Barge castle |

This castle dated from the 13th century
is still surounded by its moats. You can see Renaissance terraces on three sides
around the second floor, that leads to a beautiful chapel with five outstanding
stainglasses. The castle, the farm and the estate have been reorganized durind
the 17th and 18th century, the major changes are a decorative garden with fruit
trees on 2 Ha, a canal and a park. This garden is based on models created by Le
Nôtre and la Quintinie. Today, new fruit trees have been planted and two
different cuts of the lawn draws the 1910 m. of alleys for walking as it used
to be in the past.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Visits at: 14h, 15h30, 17h.
(from May to October by appointment. for groups). One does not visit the interior
