The Aulteribe castle

 


The castle of Aulteribe built at the end of the Middle Ages was modified and restored in second half of the XIXe century.


In 1954, the marquis Henri of Pierre bequeathed to the National Case of the Historic buildings and the sites the castle of Aulteribe and his collections: pieces of furniture, tapestries of Flandres and Aubusson, paintings of 17th and 19th centuries, porcelain of China… form a decorative whole of an exceptional quality.

 

Periods and hours of admission:

From May 15 to September 15: opened every day of 10 h with 12 noon and 14 h at 6 p.m. 30.

From September 16 to May 14: opened the every day except Monday of 10 h with 12 noon and 14 h at 5 p.m. 30.
Closed on January 1,May 1, November 1, on December 25.
